What is a Virtual-knit-along?
A knit-along is an event where knitters gather together and start a project together. In this knit-along we will  be knitting the Linden scarf pattern from Lion Brand yarns together. You can access the pattern here on Lion Brand's website. Please cast-on 22 to stitches  before the class. If you are new to knitting please review the videos below before the knit-along.

What do I need for the class?
2 skeins of bulky weight yarn (247 yd each)
Size 11 US needles (8mm) (I recommend bamboo/wooden needles)

Where d
o I buy yarn and needles?
In need of yarn and needles to start your project? If you'd like to shop local, I recommend Hill Country Weavers. You can shop online, or set up a virtual shopping appointment. Hill Country Weavers offers both shipping and contactless pick-up at their store.  Other online options include: Lion BrandMichaelsJoAnnsHobby Lobby or your preferred craft store. Make sure to double check the yarn is bulky weight and you have 247 yards of each color.

What if I am a  novice knitter?

If you are new to knitting please review the following introductory videos and cast on 22 stitches to start the project before joining the knit-along.
Learning how to cast-on.
Introduction to the knit stitch.
How to knit a scarf for beginners.
