The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (MFAH)
is thrilled to unveil Crowning the North: Silver Treasures from Bergen, Norway, a landmark exhibition showcasing the intricate tapestry of Norwegian silversmithing from the Renaissance to the dawn of the 20th century. This exquisite collection will be on display from February 11 through May 5, 2024, offering a rare glimpse into the artistry that flourished in one of Scandinavia’s most significant historical trading hubs.

Our Snorre Secretary Nina Bergitte Jørstad has arranged a Snorre exclusive guided private tour pre-opening hours! This is a unique opportunity, and we want all our members and friends of Norway to enjoy this special activity with us.
Cost: $55/person (incl. payment system processing fees).

These are “all access” tickets, meaning you will be able to visit any section of the MFA you like after the tour, including the MFAH Permanent Collections and all Special Exhibitions.
